Muffled Moans

An excerpt from my poem titled “Do not Threaten my Childhood” published in the anthology:

Do you not see a daughter or sister in my soul?

Does my womanhood obscure my all other roles?

Does carnality sedate all your emotions and senses?

Does my childhood not inhibit your sinister needs?

About the Book:

This anthology has musings we cannot possibly ignore in a world where we seek fairness and decency and where the law exists and must work. Human abuse and torture that often find expression in the lives of the weak and the vulnerable, especially in the lives of women and children will hurt a peaceful soul hard enough to express a form of disapproval in angst and disgust.
