When life is pushing you to an end

And you cannot endure to mend

When courage abandons you in straits

And mind cannot contemplate

All you need is a transformation

You need to rise to the occasion

When friends desert you in need

And you lose all strength to succeed

When challenges refuse to recede

And mentor is the one to mislead

All you need is rationalization

You need to rise to the occasion

When fear silhouettes your endeavors

And opportunities surface like terrors

When perseverance paves way to frustration

And there’s no dream or aspiration

All you need is self-motivation

You need to rise to the occasion!
