I am off prompt today due to some urgent personal commitment! But here’s what I could manage to write.
Poem: Reincarnation of Love
We pursuit love in this whole world
We expect love from everyone we love
But do we ever take a peek inside us
Do we ever think of loving our own true self?
We transform ourselves for our beloved
We mirror ourself in our beloved
Is love really all about expectations?
Can love not elevate us above anticipations?
We find ourselves overwhelmed by emotions
We imagine ourselves immersed in love
Is love not supposed to liberate our thoughts?
Is love not meant to pacify our soul?
Let’s assign a different meaning to love
Let’s develop a new language of love
Where none is bound by reactions and emotions
Where there is just pure love, no expectations!
