Mandalas have deep spiritual meaning. Creating a mandala is akin to meditating and peeling the layers of unknown parts of yourself.

I try to bring exclusivity to each mandala I create. This artwork has a peculiar feature that may not be noticed at the first sight.

This mandala has exactly 18 petals in each ring. Not only this, it has been carefully crafted with a different pattern in each petal of the third ring.

Number 18 is considered auspicious too. Eighteen is the numerical value of the Hebrew word “chai” which means “life.”Someone with this lucky number is considered to be destined for greatness and prosperity.

A mandala is a representation of the cosmos in a circular pattern that leads to a central point. The term mandala translates to “circle (mandal)” in Sanskrit. In most cultures, the circle is a symbol of oneness or wholeness, of new beginning and a state of completion or end.
