This post is in response to the prompt given by NaPoWriMo for today. The prompt is to write a poem that looks at the same thing from various points of view. This is one of my favourite prompts so I couldn’t resist writing for this. I’ve outlined poetically, twelve different perspectives of looking at a flower. Hope you enjoy reading it as much I did writing it 🙂
Ephemeral flowers
embellishing the garden
infusing vitality
————————-
Luscious flowers
replete with nectar
satiating ravenous butterflies
————————–
Mesmerizing flowers
luminous eloquent flowers
amplifying the beauty of chapel
————————–
Scrumptious flowers
gifting tender petals
to savor the essence
—————————-
Pristine flowers
signifying gratitude
expressing best wishes
—————————–
Arboreal flowers
bearing fruits
offspring of trees
——————————–
Blushing flowers
romanticizing elegance
adorning the beloved
——————————
Aromatic flowers
magnifying fragrance
complementing the collection of incense
—————————-
Picturesque flowers
modeling for camera
stealing the show
——————————-
Therapeutic flowers
sacrificing for medicine
healing the diseased
——————————
Idyllic flowers
sanitizing the soul
tribute to asleep
—————————–
Angelic flowers
offering prayer
seeking forgiveness
——————————

I love this piece. After a night of nursing a sick child, my eyes are stinging, but the imagery of your work has lifted me . Thank-you, it’s beautiful.
