Hey friends
We are into the second week of this journey of self-discovery, the theme for my monthly feature.
In Week 1, I shared my views on what constitutes self-discovery. I also took a peek at the views of fellow bloggers and shared insights with you.
Mark Twain remarked, “I can teach anybody how to get what they want out of life. The problem is that I can’t find anybody who can tell me what they want.”
So I decided to travel the road of self-discovery this week by taking inspiration from the quotes or dictums of eminent personalities on the subject.
Hope you get some light from their insightful words!
Swami Vivekananda, the great spiritual leader of all times, asserts the importance of self-conversation in order to grow from inside out.
What, according to you, is the best day in one’s life? Check out what Bob Moawad has to say in this regard!
Have you experienced the best day in your life yet? I am still awaiting one 🙂
Perhaps I need a little courage to overcome my indecisiveness in order to find the real myself!
The advice of Stephen Richards may prove valuable at this time.
The teachings of Buddha also lead us to ourselves. Buddha enlightens our path of self-discovery by his rationale that we must walk the path directed by our heart and depend on none but ourselves.
And when we follow the pronouncements of great leaders of all times, we are bound to succeed in a manner that will leave our soul calm, content and gratified.
Wish you good luck in your journey.
I will soon be back with more wisdom nuggets later this week.
Cheers!
Beautiful post! Inspiring quotes! May today (and all days) be the best day of your life. ☀️
Thank you so much for your lovely words Andrea! A Very good day to you too 🙂
you have accumulated some wonderful pieces of advice. it is not an easy path to walk and the resulting answer of what we want brings challenges. but indeed when we figure it out and work for it, “there is only one winner”
It’s certainly not an easy path but worth it and like you said, we realize sooner or later there’s only one winner:) Thanks for your lovely words!
