encumbering societal norms weighed heavy on me so I rescinded to hibernate to rationalize my subsistence to feel my roots like waves retracting to depth of ocean then your memories creaked gently in the silence of my heart breathing me to life yet again
Linked to dVerse Quadrille #43 where Grace has prompted us to use the word “creak” in our quadrille.
This is lovely. I can relate to the idea of the receding into the quiet to not only recharge, but to center, and the thought that there’s someone who is able to be present there, too, and even able to uplift. That’s a beautiful thing.
The load of expectations gets too much to bear at times, so reclusion is at times, uplifting 🙂 Thanks for reflecting back Angela!
It is! You’re welcome.
I like how memories breath one back to life.
Memories are quite powerful, aren’t they? Thanks Frank.
Sometimes one needs to be reclusive and savor memories! Well said.
Yes indeed! Thanks
Beautiful. Each of us do need our saviour when the going gets
We need to manage the ebb and flow of life all the time so rejuvenation becomes necessary..in whatever form it is. Thanks for your lovely words Namratha
I think we all might need that time to bath in memories…
Certainly! Memories keep us alive 🙂 Thanks Bjorn!
We all need that space and time to reflect on ourselves ~ I am glad for the happy conclusion ~ Thanks for joining in ~
Yes we do. It’s our way of hitting back at life with renewed vigour. Thanks Grace.
This is beautiful. I feel memories bring on a sense gratefulness for the precious moments we have been able to experience so far
How true! Memories are reminders that there are good times as well in the life and the moments of grief won’t last long. Thanks for your words.
