a long list of grievances
forever leads our way
do we care to assimilate
a list exhibiting “I am grateful for…”
it’s certain to surpass the lead
if we feel the bliss
of another sunny day
of smiles and blessings
that illuminate our day!
This post is linked to dVerse Quadrille#39 being hosted by Bjorn Rudberg who has challenged us to write a quadrille with the word “bliss”.
Reminding oneself of what we should be grateful for seems to me to be a fast path to bliss. Nice poem.
Thanks Frank. I agree 🙂
Yes, gratitude definitely leads to bliss. “a list exhibiting “I am grateful for…”…NIce fulcrum point of this wonderful poem.
Thank you so much for your loving words. I appreciate it 🙂
This is so wise. Each night, I like to list those things that gave me gratitude throughout the day. They are a side-effects free antidepressant. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks Victoria. It’s such a wonderful habit to list your blessings. I love the idea of side effects free anti depressants 🙂
I like this poem and the sentiment of looking for things to be grateful for. I do it every day. 🙂
Thanks. Gratitude is the essence of hope. It’s great you practice it everyday. Have a good day!
I love an attitude when you find the bliss where you are… we need to be better at that.
Indeed. We often forget to count our blessings in the midst of the challenges posed by life. Thanks for your views. Have a great weekend!
Thank you for an important reminder.
I am glad you found it helpful. Thanks .
