De Jackson of WhimsyGizmo who is a Las Vegan, hosted Quadrille on Monday at dVerse, when we write a poem of exactly 44 words, including a given word. (I know I’m a little late for submission!) In light of the recent killings in Las Vegas, De rightly believes that in addition to prayers and healing, his city is in need of a little hope. So, he’s prompted us to write a quadrille on “hope”. Here’s my take on it.
when courage drowns in fear and wisdom flees dreading sneer when love gets brutally burnt and pride fails to discern even then my dear let hope beat in your heart let hope sway your mind let hope lead your steps let hope reign world !
And let hope make us all One and be kind to all Humans. Superb and breathtaking words so well composed, Vandana. Thanks for the awesome share. A lovely post.
Thank you so much Kamal! Hope shall certainly bind us all together!
Welcome Vandana and yes absolutely true.
Hey, Good Morning 🙂 Have a great day dear!
Amen to that Vandana, the world moves forward only by clinging on to hope. Your poem has shown us that beautiful ray of light. Well done!!
Thanks dear Radhika! I agree. The world needs hope now and at all times.
You can call me Vandana too 🙂
It’s hope that’s challenged that needs encouragement.
I agree Frank and that’s so sad! It’s hope needs encouragement.
“Let hope reign” – YES. Please.
Amen!
I like the repetition of “Let hope”!
Thanks!
Just it’s the hope that makes our path clearer….nicely penned vandana
True Akhila! Thanks.
