Poem: I do not fear

 

I do not fear criticism

Because…

It gives me new perspectives

Stimulating my way of thinking

A novel approach to doing things

Instilling forbearance- control over feelings

 

 

I do not fear failure

Because…

Every failure is a learning experience,

A stepping-stone towards my growth,

An opportunity that I did not miss,

A cue that more effort, I must put forth.

 

 

 

I do not fear darkness

Because…

The significance of light it reiterates

Time to ponder over faults and feats

The matters I neglect in life’s chase

Faith in Almighty, darkness reinstates!
