Let’s rekindle the spirit of “Optimism”, our theme for the monthly feature , while adhering to the prompt of NaPoWriMo. Because today is the ninth day of NaPoWriMo, we have been challenged to write a nine-line poem. Here’s my offering for the day

When imprisoned by time

None willing to obey your mind

When faith is drifting away

Cynicism is all you find

Assuage your heart; bolster your mind

“I’m a winner in the making

Time to invigorate; it’s merely a turn”

Refuting all qualms assert to the world

“I stand unabated, I’m no more a hostage of time!”
