Day 13: NaPoWriMo with SoulCraft:
Multiverses and parallel dimensions. We have all stumbled across these terms at some point or the other. Today, imagine another Universe. What would you be doing there? Who would you be? And who would you be with? Tell us.
Here’s an account of my visit
Poem: A Journey to Parallel Universe
Multiverse and parallel universe,
Time travel and synergies,
These concepts have been a fantasy,
More so with David Tennant playing Doctor Who in the series
–
So dreaming of him, I dozed off one day,
In his time machine, I crossed all bays,
In time machine, by his side,
‘twas no less than a fantasy
–
Catching my breath, I stepped out in the world,
A world he called “parallel universe”
“Would everything here be upside down?”
“Would I walk with my hands or my foot would wear a crown?”
–
“You’ll soon see,” he said, laughing with his beautiful eyes,
And the first thing I saw was moon dancing with its bride!
My eyes popped out, to another implausible scene,
When I noticed all fauna could talk and scream!
–
With inquisitive eyes, I kept searching for myself,
When the Doctor pointed out to a tall, slender girl,
“No that can’t be true! She cannot be me!”
But wasn’t that what I wanted?
–
I saw the beautiful me, dancing and rejoicing,
No care in the world, no need to be a perfect bee,
No frown, no grief, no rage or worry
A celebration of life, was all about me!
–
“It’s time to go,” he said, and pulled me into the time machine
“What is this parallel universe?” I asked curiously,
“A reflection of who I want to be or the one who I can be?” asked I
“Isn’t that the same, my dear?” replied Doctor Who nonchalantly
–
With that thought in mind, I landed back in my reality,
“I really can be who I want to be!” I assured myself
I had traversed the dimensions of time and universe,
To discover the truth, I should have known in this world!
