The prompt for today is to write a poem that explicitly incorporates alliteration (the use of repeated consonant sounds) and assonance (the use of repeated vowel sounds). This doesn’t mean necessarily limiting yourself to a few consonants or vowels, although it could.
Alliteration is a stylistic literary device identified by the repeated sound of the first letter in a series of multiple words, or the repetition of the same letter sounds in stressed syllables of a phrase. Here’s my submission for today, absolutely alliterating 🙂
Too many men materialistic
To many, money matters
Too many money-matters
Too much money, matters
Various questions queer
Various veil valor
Various worries vague
Various worries weird
Some subjects stay symbolic
Some subjects savor silence
Some subjects best unanswered
Some subjects best suppressed
Wow great alliteration loved them
Thanks dear:)
