I am on vacation and at ocean today. My love for ocean inspired my poem today.
Poem: My rendezvous with the ocean
I see the waves ebb and flow
From a tumultuous beginning
To a calmness they assume as they reach the shore
Is it a reflection of my life?
Or is it something the waves are teaching me?
I seem undecided
I walk on the shore, feeling the sand
I walk into the ocean, feeling its water
Soaking in the blessed gifts of nature
Does nature feel me the way I do?
Does it also need me the way I do?
I ask the roaring sea, it continues to roar
I think about tomorrow as I embrace the waves
I ruminate my yesterday as waves retract
What about the moment I’m living in the present?
What about the fact that I’m one with the ocean?
Shouldn’t I bask in the reality of my dream?
I ask myself, my heart rejoices
The vastness of sea stupefies me
The depth of ocean seems to engulf me
I wonder how it’s calm and formidable at the same time
Can I ever attain this level of perseverance?
Can I ever comprehend the mantra of existence?
I ask the Universe, as Sun rises with eminence
